Mother Love Fitness Challenge

What an incredible challenge! Thank you to all of the moms who participated in this three month long challenge. You walked, jogged, and ran those inches and pounds off of your body and it shows!

I would like to give a shout out to our prenatal mamas who lost inches in their thigh and arm areas and only gained in their waist and bust - exactly where you need to gain!

You ladies are inspiring! Pat yourselves on the back for all of your effort. Your efforts reflect 600 miles logged in April, 43 pounds lighter, and 40 inches lost.
That is incredible!

Congratulations to:

Jillian Simms for losing 6.25 inches and 8 lbs. You look fantastic! This mother of two was on a mission and achieved her goals...and then some!

Susie Werner for losing 10 pounds! This busy mother of two didn't let a full time job outside of the home derail her commitment! Way to go!

Laura Prentice for having the highest overall attendance and adherence points! Our resident runner was pounding serious pavement with her three girls!

Erin Inan for logging the highest amount of miles in April AND having the fastest 1/2 mile time. Erin logged 109 miles in April. She ran a 3:31 1/2 miles WHILE PUSHING A DOUBLE JOGGER WITH HER 3 1/2 YEAR OLD SON AND HER 1 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER! That is SMOKIN'!

I am so proud of you all!

Congratulations on an amazing month!


What an incredible February!!!

This was the first month of our Mother Love Fitness Challenge. The moms of Baby Boot Camp Mid Peninsula were certainly up to the challenge! Each of the participants made tremendous gains in the strength component.

Overall, our team gained by 199% from where we started the month. That reflects a lot of hard work. Here is the breakdown:

Jump Squats: Increased by 424%

We did have two National winners on our team. Erin Inan, 1st place, averaged 414.5 jump squats for the month. On the last day of testing, she did 1100 jump squats. Yes, that was 1,100. She jump squatted for close to 35 minutes non stop.
The second place finisher did 850 jump squats on the last day of class. Her average was 295.75.

When you take their figures out, our team averaged an increas of 169% gain on jump squats. Everyone got stronger and doubled their numbers.

It really goes to show what an important role your mind plays in exercise. When you think something isn't achievable - it isn't! However, once you witness higher numbers, see it happen, then you believe it is possible. As a result, you achieve!

Never doubt yourself or what you are capable and the sky is the limit!

We also tested out by completing as many push ups as possible. Overall, we gained 124% in this category and 50% on our planks.

That brings our overall team average to a gain of 199% in strength!

I am so proud of each of you for your hard work, amazing attitudes, and fantastic results!

Now let's keep this momentum in March!

Mother Love Fitness Challenge



It's official! We launched our three month long Mother Love Fitness Challenge today! Moms are focusing on increasing their strength during the month of February. We focus on flexibility in March. April wraps up the challenge by focusing on our cardio! It is going to be a fantastic three months!

The inches are going to be melting off our moms!

Mother Love Fitness Challenge is here!

Moms are determined to achieve their goals in 2010! They grabbed their water bottles and running shoes and kicked off the first fitness challenge class today!
Baby Boot Campers jump squatted, planked, and push up'ed their way through class and did an amazing job!

Way to go Moms! You make motherhood look FANTASTIC!
